British Columbia Land Surveyor (BCLS)
The position requires excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for managing survey crews and be dealing directly with our valued clients. You will be trusted as a company representative, liaising with the public and clients and representing our brand in the marketplace.
Qualifications:
• A non-negotiable ‘team first’ attitude.

• Strong business presence, including excellent work ethic, maturity, & sound judgment.
• Impeccable attention to detail and commitment to precision.
• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage
multiple projects.
• 2+ years’ experience surveying in the Lower Mainland (preferred but
not required).
• Knowledge of TDS Survey Pro data collection software and Leica total
stations.
• Experience using MicroSurvey CAD program.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities:
• Protect and strengthen our brand through nurturing strong client
relationships.
• Quote, schedule, and manage project timelines and budgets.
• Define project tasks for staff.
• Oversee preparation of survey plans and procedures for conducting
land surveys.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to project team.
• Oversee quality assurance and quality control of end results.
• Complete project evaluations and assessment of results.
Survey Crew Assistant
This role demands strong interpersonal and communication skills. You'll need to collaborate effectively within a team, working outdoors in various weather conditions. As a representative of Target Land Surveying, you will engage with the public and clients, maintaining a high standard of professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications:
• Experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• A valid BC driver's license.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the survey crew chief with fieldwork, utilizing survey equipment.
• Communicate effectively to ensure project tasks are completed
efficiently.
• Set up and dismantle survey equipment as needed.
• Complete safety checklists at worksites.
